Grain Reception Attendant

As the manager of grain management, you will become a key player in our production. If you enjoy diverse tasks and are looking to evolve in an environment where your involvement is recognized and supported by a human team, this opportunity is for you.

Mandate

The reception attendant ensures the supply of grains to meet production needs. He or she is responsible for the quality of the grains, movements, and the monthly inventory.

Level 1

  • Manually sample trucks or use an automatic probe;
  • Weigh trucks, containers, and unload into the correct silo;
  • Know the different grains and memorize their locations in the silos;
  • Follow health and safety rules and maintain a clean working environment;
  • Clear snow from the scale, paths between the silos, and maintain it as needed;
  • Maintain the scale cabin and keep it clean;
  • All other related tasks.

Level 2

  • Perform quality tests before unloading and call clients as needed;
  • Clean empty silos;
  • Transfer grains according to production needs;
  • Load grain trips according to customer requests;

Level 3

  • Collaborate with the production and quality operator to properly plan supply;
  • Ensure good ventilation of the silos to preserve the grain;
  • Be aware of mechanical breakdowns and inform the maintenance manager;
  • Clean the paddles and elevator legs during thaw periods (including weekends and holidays if necessary);
