Being a Shipping and Receiving Clerk at Semtech Seeds and Grains means playing a central, always active, and diverse role in a growing company.

MAIN MANDATE:

Work as a team to prepare orders, check their accuracy, and proceed with loading afterward. He or she is also responsible for unloading products delivered to Semtech.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow loading and unloading procedures
• Unstack bags and wrap pallets
• Ensure broken bags are removed before shipping
• Count products received during unloading
• Participate in the monthly inventory as needed
• Follow health and safety rules and maintain a clean working environment
• All other related tasks.

SKILLS REQUIRED

• Capable of lifting loads of 30 kg regularly
• Available to work overtime (paid) during peak periods
• Able to work under pressure and be diligent
• Must be able to read and write legibly.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Spoken and written language: French
• Experience in operating a forklift (strong asset)
• Forklift license (strong asset)
• TDG training (asset).
